Chapter 1 - Sora: The World
Hey guys! Well this is the first chapter of ‘Illegal Assassin’. I made an error with the story title (so sorry about that). Well if you see the words italic style, that means that it’s one of the songs from the movie and one of the charcters of the story is singing it. I'll put the links of the song in the bottom so you can hear what the song sounds like. Oh and I haven’t seen the movie yet, so I guarantee this story would not be like the movie. Sora : The World
Twilight Town; a town full of people who suffer from surgeries because of organ failures and that have to worry about monthly payments. The whole world suffers too.
Geneco practically rules the whole world. Especially the man who is the founder of Geneco.
His name is Xemnas Geneco. That’s where the company gets its name from. Then there’s his children.
The oldest is Marluxia. He is the toughest, but not the smartest of all. Then there’s Larxene. She’s the slut of the whole family. She might seem clean, but she’s actually addicted to a drug called Zydrate.
It’s most used before or after surgeries so can’t feel the pain, and it’s very addictive. But not like I actually tried the drug.
Then there’s Kairi, more like a whore then a slut. She’s also an addict of Zydrate. We go to the same school, and it’s horrible. She’s just a whore who wants me.
Well enough of that. My name is Sora, Sora Hikari. I’m a 16 year old that lives a normal life; well almost. The heart I have now is actually a replacement heart from Geneco. And yes, I’m one of those people who suffer to continue living.
My dad is the one who tries to keep me alive. We could somehow afford a house, but he worries a lot for me. He doesn’t want to lose me like he lost my mom.
She had her lungs replaced, but she couldn’t keep up with the damn payment. So Geneco sent one of their Repo men to take back the organ my mom needed. We found her in one of the alleys near where lived, but she was dead with a big whole in her chest and blood flowing out of her body.
I was only 7 when she died. 2 years later, one day my heart stopped beating. I was rushed to the emergency room, getting a surgery for replacing my heart. I was only nine year old when my heart failed me.
I live in a world of fear and legal assassin.
It was a Wednesday, rainy and ugly.
My dad was driving me home from school. Even though I’m 16 and old enough to walk home by myself, I’m not allowed to. I’ll be 17 soon, so I’m sure I’ll be free from the rules.
On the way home, the car was very quiet. Then my dad was the first one to break the silence.
“So how was school today?” He asked me.
“Good.” I lied. My day was terrible. I wore a red t-shirt and jeans today at school. I had my friends Roxas, Cloud, Leon, Yuffie, Hayner, Pence, and Olette.
I had so many friends to defend me, but Kairi and her group came to harass me. It was lunch time, and I was with my friends at our usual table.
“God, my parents barely made through this month’s payment. How about you guys?” Asked Hayner.
My friends were the only ones who knew my replacement heart. And Kairi because of her father. I tried to answer the question, but then the whore and her group came to harass me.
“So Sora, wanna have some fun?” I turned around and saw that it was Kairi.
She wore dark, heavy make up, a tight shirt, a mini shirt with fishnet tights underneath, and high heel black boots.
Did I also mention that she was a hooker? Well she’s also one, and a bitch.
“No thank you.” I answered back.
“Aww, what’s wrong cutie?”
“I don’t think I’m in the mood to take your shit right now.” Now I was pissed. Behind her was her group of ‘friends’. Namine, her best friend, Wakka, Tidus, and Selphie.
“Oh really? Then how about now?” Kairi pressed her perky breast against my back and hugged me from behind. I was really, REALLY PISSED!
“Hey! Just leave him alone Kairi!” Yelled Yuffie. She looked annoyed and pissed.
“You are so fucking annoying!”
Then Kairi had a very, very, very pissed look on her face. Her pale skin was the shade of pink.
“What did you say to me you fucking whore!?” Yelled Kairi.
“Well the only whore here is you!” Replied Yuffie.
It was starting to get really bad. I wished that I could just stand up to Kairi and tell her that I’m not interested I her. She’s too much of a whore to hang out or even go out with. But I’m afraid of something.
If I do tell her, what is she going do?
Will she tell her dad to increase my payments?
Or will she tell him to send to Repo man because I broke her heart, if she has one?
I was too scared to find out for myself.
Kairi threw the first punch at Yuffie, then Yuffie kicked her leg.
“I’m warning you bitch! I know how to fight ninja style, and I’m not afraid to… to… fight like that.” Yelled Yuffie at Kairi.
“Ha! Like you can fight!” Said Kairi.
Yuffie threw a punch at Kairi’s nose in response to that comment. Kairi fell down to her knees, bleeding from her nose.
“I warned you. You should’ve just left us alone.” Said Yuffie at the fallen Kairi.
Then an unexpected hit from Wakka hit Yuffie behind her head. She fell down on the ground; lying on her stomach. She was on unconscious.
“Yuffie!” Shouted Leon.
We all ran to her for her aid. Then both girls were sent to the office. When Yuffie woke up, she was suspended for 2 days from school. Kairi only got detention for a whole week.
It’s not fair! The one who started the fight was Kairi, yet Yuffie gets more punishment. It’s just not fair.
I came back to my senses when the car reached the house. My dad got out of the car, and then went over my side to open my side of the car. I got out of the car myself and walked with my dad over to the porch. My dad opened the door and let me through.
It was warm inside my house, I mean… my dad’s mansion. He was a doctor at Twilight Hospital, at least that’s what he told me. The only time I actually got out was for school only. I’m always locked inside my room, and I never come out. My dad brings my food up my room to eat.
He’s way overprotective. He isolates me from the world now. When I was little, and before my surgery, I was always let outside to play with my friends.
I was always friends with Roxas, Hayner, Pence, and Olette in elementary. I met Cloud, Leon and Yuffie in middle school. We’re all now in high school, struggling to keep being alive. We also have other friends. There’s Aerith, Cid, Donald, Goofy, and Merlin.
Aerith is a freshman in college and Leon’s girlfriend. Cid is a mechanic fixing cars at the gas station/ pit stop or whatever you call those places. Donald is a talking duck that was one of Geneco’s experiments, but escaped. And Goofy is also an experiment of Geneco. He’s some sort of talking dog, but doesn’t really look like one. And Merlin is an amazing wizard. Very weird to find a wizard around here at Twilight Town.
I rarely see them.
I went up to my room, and my dad followed me there too. His name is Nathan. My mother’s name was Karin. They both loved each other, and I came out as a result of their love of course.
But there was one other thing I never told anyone else before. Another reason my father kept me locked in my room.
I’m infected by their genetics. I have a rare blood disease, and along with a replacement heart, so that made my life very complicated.
I sat down on my bed, and my dad was standing up next to me. He looked at me, and then smiled. I smiled back too, but then it faded.
“Listen Sora, I have to go back hospital again, so I’ll be gone for a while. Your food would be at the table next to the door. So please take care of yourself.”
I looked at the table next to my door. He was right. My food was there. How the hell did he get that food in here at the first place!?
“Okay dad, I promise I’ll be safe.” I replied.
“Okay, and remember to take your medicine.” Reminded my dad.
I nodded back at him. He came to hug me and I hugged him back.
“Okay. See you later, Sora.” He went out and locked the door. He always did that to me. Always going to work because it’s urgent, and then he locks me inside my room. I hated that! I always have! I lay down on my bed and started to think, and think.

Then I got up and sat down on my bed, remembering the things dad always tells me.
'Sora I'm the doctor.' 'Sora, I'm your father.' 'Oh, Sora, that was close!' 'Take your medicine.'

I stood up and walked towards another table just across my bed with a bunch of pictures of me, and my mom and dad. I started to feel angry.

Thinking more and more about that made me pound my hand on the table so hard. I was really getting mad. I hated this fucking infection!

I grabbed one of the pictures of me together with my mom and dad. We looked so happy. I kept looking at it.
How much of it's genetics?

How much of it depends on the choices that we make?
He says I have her eyes, do I also inherit his shame?

I then threw the picture at the floor next to me and started walking towards my bed.

I then cried myself to sleep, and I didn’t even bother taking my medicine or eating. I just hated my genetics.
